Triskele Chainmail Earrings showcases a double spiral weave chainmail with a silver pewter Triskele charm at the base. The chainmail weave is two jump rings thick forming a dense chain that steps down much like a spiral staircase. The chainmail is formed with black alternating with silver-plated jump rings. The earwires are hypo-allergenic black niobium hook earwires with a decorative sterling ball.
The Triskele symbol is also known as Triskelion or simply as the Triple Spiral and is an ancient celtic symbol based on three conjoining spirals. The triskele was used in Ireland during both the pre-Celtic (as early as 3200 BC, before both Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids) and Celtic periods.
Earring Length is measured from the top of the earwires to the bottom of the lowest bead or component.
