Blue Apatite Earrings / 35mm length / sterling hook earwires

Blue Apatite in Rings Earrings are made with flattened round blue apatite coin beads encircled by 19mm rings with a hammertone look. The hammertone rings are TierraCast pewter (made in the USA) with a bright silver finish. The earwires are sterling silver hooks.

Apatite is a gemstone that is a beautiful lagoon blue with a translucent quality, meaning that diffused light can pass through the stone. Apatite comes from the from the Greek word apate or "deceit" because of its misleading similarity to other minerals such as beryl and peridot. However, there is no deceit in its beautiful deep lagoon blue that is characteristic of apatite jewelry.

Earring Length is measured from the top of the earwires to the bottom of the lowest bead or component.
