TierraCast Opulence Magnetic Clasp is a round clasp with a beaded star pattern on one side and a beaded sun on the other. This is a two piece clasp - both ends contain a magnet so when brought together they snap themselves closed. There are three eyelets - one pair on the top of the clasp and an eyelet at the base for a pendant. When using this clasp, you need to ensure that the necklace is attached correctly using the eyelets at the top.
TierraCast Antique Gold (GA-26) components are gold plated pewter with an 18k color and a medium luster with an antiqued finish.

Magnetic Clasp FAQ
Q: Are magnetic clasps secure enough for everyday wear?
Yes—high-quality magnetic clasps provide strong holding power and stay closed during normal daily activities. However, they may come apart if pulled sharply or used with very heavy jewelry pieces.
Q: Can I use magnetic clasps on heavy bracelets or pendants?
Magnetic clasps work best on lightweight to medium-weight designs. For heavy pendants or chunky bracelets, a toggle or lobster clasp may be more secure.
Q: Are magnetic clasps easy to open and close?
Absolutely. They connect instantly and can be fastened with one hand, making them perfect for people who prefer simple, hassle-free fastening.
Q: Are magnetic clasps safe for everyone?
People with pacemakers or other medical devices affected by magnets should avoid wearing magnetic-closure jewelry. When in doubt, consult a medical professional.
Q: Will the magnet affect electronics or credit cards?
It’s unlikely during normal wear, but keep strong magnets away from hotel key cards, some watches, or hearing aids to prevent possible interference.
Q: Can the magnet attract other metal objects?
Occasionally small metal items may stick to the clasp, but this doesn’t harm the jewelry and can be easily brushed off.
