Artistic Natural Copper Wire is not bare copper wire but has a protective coating and is colored for a slightly softer natural look than bare copper has.

Artistic Wire is a copper based soft tempered wire that has an enamel coating for tarnish resistance, chipping and peeling and is able to withstand wire wrapping techniques.

22 Gauge is a mid-sized diameter wire measuring approx 0.64mm diameter. This is a common gauge for wire wrapping and general wire work because it is thin enough to fit through most bead thread holes and yet strong enough to provide a good hold.
