TierraCast 6mm Compression Rivets / 10 Pack / brass with a bright gold finish

TierraCast 6mm Compression Rivets are two part components consisting of a post and cap. Perfect for jewelry making, especially connecting leather, adding charms, or joining metal pieces without soldering (cold connections). 6mm rivets work great on connections with a combined thickness of 5-7mm.

Note: because of the tube diameter, that these rivets will not work with the TierraCast leather rivetables.

✨ How to Use (General Steps)

• Punch a Hole: Use a leather hole punch to make a hole through your material.
• Insert: Place the rivet post through the hole from the back (or underside) and the cap onto the front.
• Set: Place the assembly on a bench block, align the rivet setter tool (with a concave end) over the cap, and tap with a hammer until secure.
• Check: Tug gently to ensure it's firmly set.
